The quick FP4 session was red flagged midway through after Sykes suffere𝓡d a highside off during his opening timed lap. The former World Superbike champion was able to walk away from the off and will be keen to see a speedy repair on his ZX-10RR with qualifying just over an hour after the final practice session.
With Sykes unable to set a time it saw the rest of the field close up with Alex Lowesꦆ move up to 𒁏fourth for Pata Yamaha just over two-tenths ahead of teammate Michael van der Mark.
Red Bull Honda’s Leon Camier kept in contention in sixth ahead of Aruba.it Racing Ducati junior rider Michael Ruben Rinaldi as Toprak Razgatlioglu (Puccetti Kawa🧔saki), Xavi Fores (Barnওi Ducati) and Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing Ducati) completing the top ten contenders.
