Eugene Laverty and Leon Camier have both been passed fit to 🌌take part in the opening free practice at Imola and will be reviewed after the session before being allowed to contest the full race weekend.

Laverty has been absent fo🍸r Milwaukee Aprilia having suffered a pelvis injury during race two i🔯n Thailand, when he was accidently hit by an unsighted Jordi Torres for MV Agusta, but has recovered faster than expected with his initial return timetabled for the next round at Donington Park.

Camier was sidelined after he suffered three broken ribs in a crash during race two at Aragon and has made an equally swift recovery for Red Bull Honda, while the team has ca💙lled in British Superbike rider Jason O'Halloran as a reserve rider if Camier is unable to compete at Imola this wཧeekend.

Both riders will be reviewed after FP1 and required to pass a second fitness check at Imola before being granted permission to contest the complete♔ race weeken🍸d at the Italian circuit.

"It's b🤡een a long road but my recovery has gone r๊eally well and the medical staff have given me the all clear to ride the bike tomorrow in Free Practice 1," Camier said,. "In some ways, the recovery has been more tiring than doing normal race weekends as I've tried every kind of treatment to give myself the best chance of being ready for this round and hopefully all the hard work has paid off.

"I'm still in a bit of pain and altho💞ugh I've been given the all clear to participate in FP1, the real test will be going out on the bike so ဣwe'll review my condition after the session to see if I can continue for the rest of the race weekend. I've had a good recovery to this point and made it to Imola, so I'll see how I get on tomorrow."

Camier’s Red Bull Honda teammate Jake Gagne has also been declared fit to return to action at Imo🤡la after sitting out both races at Assen last month having suffered a heavy fall during free practice at the Dutch circuit.

It meꦕant the Ten Kate Racing-run Red Bull Honda missed both its home races with riders out injured but should return to a fully accompaniment this weekend.
