Ducati riderꦦ Scott Redding is prepared to make things as difficult as possib༒le for WorldSBK title contenders Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu in San Juan. 

While Redding himself is not out of the championship fight - 54 points behi𝓀nd Razgatlioglu with 124 still up for grabs, the former MotoGP rider and 2019 BSB champion is not ‘focused on the championship itself’.  

"I wouldn’t say I’m really focused on the championship itself, it’s mo🍌re realistic that I take second in the championship, that would be good for me," added Redding.&n🍸bsp;

"Of course I want to win the title, but I can’t try a🤡nd do too much. I need to leave it in their hands."

If Redding is to somehow win the title he will need a fair share of luck to come his way, which is very possible given th🎐e fierce racing we saw between Rea and Razgatlioglu in Portimao, something he expects to be even ‘worse’ this weekend.  

Redding said: "It got quite tasty last time out and I expect it to be the same, if not worse here because Jonathan [Rea] needs to get them points to take it to the last round. Toprak [Razgatlioglu] needs to defend those poiಞnts and I’m there to make it as difficult as possible for both." 

In order for Redding to make it as challeng꧂ing as he can for both men, it will require learning a new circuit very quickly, one in which most of the grid have previously raced at. 

And although that’s likely to make it tougher for Redding,💮 the British rider has a great record at new venues as he won races at both Navarra and Most earlier this season. 

Speaking about the San Juan layout, Redding said: "It looks like a rea🌠lly cool track, quite technical, so it’s going to be interesting to learn it.&nbs𝄹p;

"Especially with the elevation, some tight ✨corners, some fast corners, but my approach is to be as fast as I cꦡan and be as fast as possible. 

"We’ll see with FP1 and try to make a lot🐠 of laps to understand how the track goes."
