World Superbike championship leader Toprak Razgatlioglu topped morniꦺng warm-up at Magny-Cours. 

With track conditions in their optimal working win💫dow, Razgatlioglu set a lo𝓡w 1m 36s time - over three tenths faster than main title rival Jonathan Rea. 

Tom Sykes was one of the most consistent rider’s throughout the session, however, the BMW rider lost third spot late on to Andrea Locateꦚlli.&💜nbsp;

After withdrawing ℱfrom race one due to a crash in Superpo🦂le, Lucas Mahias was back in action during morning warm-up. 

Race One

Toprak Razgatliog🐲lu claimed his seventh WorldSBK win of the season during race one at Magny-Cours, while Scott Redding finished 12th afte🐻r crashing late on.

After taki🌠ng the lead into turn one, Razgatlioglu was relegated to third by Alex Lowes following a tough move at turn five.🌠 

Razgatlioglu and L꧒owes were both passed in the process by Michael Rinaldi, which allowed Jonathan Rea to extend his lead to over seven tenths. 

Ra🎉zgatlioglu got back ahead of Rinaldi two corners later and set about catch🍨ing his title rival. 

Scott Redding suffered a disastrous opening few laps as a mistake in turn five allowed Michael Van Der Mark and Axel Bassani through - relegated Redd𒀰ing down to ninth. 

On lap four, Razgatlioglu made his move for the lead with a hard but lovely m🃏ove on Rea into turn five.

While Razgatlioglu and Rea began to slowly🍃 pull clear out f🦄ront, Redding was down to tenth after Alvaro Bautista got past the Brit.

After setting a new lap record on lap seven, Razgatlioglu started to come🏅 under pressure from Rea with 13 laps to go. 

However, Razgatlioglu’s lead significantly increased on laps ten and 11 as Rea began to run w👍ide at several corners.

After being stuck behind Rinaldi during the first ten ✅laps, Andrea Locatelli finally got the better of his🅠 fellow Italian at turn five, before closing in on Lowes for the final podium position.  

A one second advantage momentarily stabilised for Lowes in his battle with Locatelli. But just as Lowes started to increase the gap a couple of laps l✨ater, the Kawasaki rider crashed out at turn nine. 

Th🌊e gap between Razgatliౠoglu and Rea continued to grow during the final few laps - over … once the checkered flag came out. 

There was late drama for Redding as he cr🔯ashed at turn 14 while trying to go down the inside of Tom Sykes.

The grid was reduced to 20 riders following Lucas Mahias’ withdrawal. The Kawasaki rider suff𓂃ered a fast turn one crash in qualifyin🎃g and worsened the condition of his already injured right wrist from Assen.
