The openꦅing British Superbike Championship race of the day at Knockhill has been suspended after a torrential downpour.
The race got underway in wet conditions before the heavens opened at the end of the opening lap, organisers proceeding to deploy the red flags shortly afterwards as ﷺvisibility plummeted.
Despite the conditions, no serious accidents oc🔴curred, with Josh Brookes leading initial🤡ly, ahead of Michael Rutter, James Ellison and Alastair Seeley.
There𓃲 is no word on when the race is e🔯xpected to restart or whether it will be cancelled altogether.
