The race got underway in wet conditions before the heavens opened at the end of the opening lap, organ🐈isers proceeding to depl🐽oy the red flags shortly afterwards as visibility plummeted.
D💧espite the conditions, no serious accidents occurred, with 🤪Josh Brookes leading initially, ahead of Michael Rutter, James Ellison and Alastair Seeley.
There is no word on when the race is expected to 🐼restart or whether it will be cancelled altogether.
