"The ZX-6RR engine and suspension is working great
but we're still struggling to put the power down to the track," The Spanish rider continued. "I think we're
capable of improvin꧃g the 🐲situation so we'll get to work this week."
Riba's gu꧂est rider' team-mate for the weekend, journalist Gus Scott, was heading for the final championship point, in 15th place, before crashing out on the last lap, escaping injury.
"I made a bad start and I'd just about wrecked the tyres trying to make up the ground quickly," said Scott. "I felt the front tyre sliding and then, on the right-hander through the complex, it felt like it had just been swept
away from under me."
"I'm disappointed for the MSS Discovery team," Scott added. "they've put a lot of work in to help me here at Thruxton. The ZX-6RR is a great bike and I'm
pleased to have been given⛄ the opportunit🦩y to race it."
