Stefan GP hiring staff for F1 assault

Stefan Grand Prix still 'confident' it will 'eventually' secure a place in F1 in 2010.

Stefan Grand Prix is still in the process of recruiting personnel for an assault on the 2010 FIA F1 World Championship, acco♌rding to its website.

The Serbian-based outfit, which is led by Zoran Stefanovich, was unsuccessful in its bid to secure a slot on the grid for next year but it continues to maintain♔ that it will be given the okay to compete.

Indeed following a meeting between Stefanovich and Toyota boss, John Howett last month, it has been rumoured that the Belgrade squad might purchase the rights to the successor to Toyota's 200🌜9 car.

A statement released by Stefan GP recently read:

"SGP Team is confident the FIA will eventually green-light SGP team entry in Formula 1 Championship🌳.

"However, SGP Team express satisfaction with fact that Sauber entry in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship has been succesౠsful. All at SGP congratulate 💯Peter Sauber and Sauber F1 team."

Sauber's F1 entry was rubber-stamped on December 3, when the FIA confirmed the♌ team had been 'awarded the 13th [and final] entry in the Championship, taking𝓰 the place of the departing Toyota team'.
