Stefan GP hiring staff for F1 assault

Stefan Grand Prix still 'confident' it will 'eventually' secure a place in F1 in 2010.

Stefan Grand Prix is still in the 🐷process of recruiting personnel for an assault on the 2010 FIA F1 World Championꦯship, according to its website.

The Serbian-based outfit, which is led by Zoran Stefanovich, was unsuccessful in its bid to secure a slot on the grid for next year but it continues to maintain that it will be given th🐻e okay to compete.

Inde꧑ed following a meeting between Stefanovich and Toyota boss, John Howett last month, it has been rumoured that♚ the Belgrade squad might purchase the rights to the successor to Toyota's 2009 car.

A statement released by Stefan GP recently read:

"SGP Team i꧋s confident the FIA will eventu♍ally green-light SGP team entry in Formula 1 Championship.

"However, SGP Team express satisfaction wiꦫth fact that Sauber entry in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship has been successful. All at SGP congratulate Peter Sauber and Sauber F1 team."

Sauber's F1 entry was rubber-stamped on December 3, when the FIA confirmed the team had been 'awarded the 13th [and final] entry in the Championship, taking▨ the place of the departing Toyota team'.
