McLaren-Mercedes driv﷽er Pedro de la Rosa topped the times yesterday [Sunday] at Jerez, 🧸as pre-Christmas testing finally drew to a close.
On a track that was artificially dampened so that the teams could work on Michelin's latest w๊et weather compounds, the Spaniard completed 96 laps, the most of anyone driver, his best a 1 minute 26.955 seconds.
Takuma Sato was next up around three seconds slower, while Renaul✤t's Frank Montagny was third, three tꦡenths off the BAR.
Ricardo Zonta 🧸was the only other runner on track - his best a 1m 31.517s in t༒he Toyota TF104B.
