McLaren removes West, adds Walker.

Ho🐬wever, thus far, there is no sign of Johnnie Walker branding, which will go on the car on Sunday for the first time, following an announcement on Saturday afternoon.

The whisky brand's name will be seen only on the a🌄irbox, while its famous strolling character will be on the wing endplates. The rear wing remains blank, as it has all year, as the team still requires a title sponsor. Johnnie Walker's budget is far less than that supplied by West.

McLaren's tactics mean that the cars will have appeared in differe𓆏nt liveries on all three days of the meeting, making it hard for photographers to pass off practice shots as coming from the race! ꦡIt also opens up the possibility for model makers to make a special edition of the briefly seen 'Saturday' livery...

West said goodbye to the s𓂃port with a low-key party in Budapest on Friday. It was to have been held at the motorhome, but was moved downtown after the death of a team member earlier in the week. The company has already closed down its F1 website.
