Ferrari forced to change Vettel's engine after Malaysia issue

Ferrari has confirmed it has changed the🍰 engine on Sebastian Vettel's Formula 1 car following an issue during final practice for the Malaysian Grand Prix on Saturday, edging the German closer to a grid penalty.

Vettel finished FP3 second overall behind teammate Kimi Raikko꧃nen, but had to end his𒆙 session early after an issue emerged while out on-track, forcing him to slow and nurse the car back to the pits.

Ferrari confirmed after the session it would be completing a "preca♌utional change" of Vettel's engine ahead of qualifying at the Sepang International Circuit.
