F1: Hartley thankful for LMP1 preparation ahead of 'dream' F1 debut

Hartley has raced in sportscars with Porsche since 2014, winning the FIA World Endurance Championship drivers' title in 20🥀15 and this year's 24 Hours of L♛e Mans, with the factory programme acting as a good grounding for the New Zealander.
"There’s a lot to learn in one week, but I feel ready for it, honestly," at last weeke🧜nd's 6 Hours of Fuji.
"This programme has taught me a lot. Working with guys like Mark [Webbe♚r], Timo [Bernhard], Earl [Bamber], in such a good project where we’re at the forefront of technology and part of development.
“I think I’ve got [a lot of that] as a driver. It’✅s going to be a busy week for me but I’m really looking forward to it.
“It’s happened quite quickly. I had quite a bit on my mind o༺ver the last week an🔯d especially at Petit Le Mans as well.
“It’s an amazing opportunity. It’s going to be a dream ꦑcome true. I’ve thought about that moment since I was a little kid. I’m glad to represent the WEC. I’m looking forward to it.
“I’m going to embr👍ace it and most importantly I’m going to try and enjoy it.”
