Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton𒈔 has revealed that he changes his driving style “every year” in his constant ꧙pursuit for improvement.

Even at 35-years old and with six world championships and 84 career wins to his name, Hamilton remains motivated to furꩵther improve himself on a year-by-year basis and has previously spoken about his desire to perfect his craft.

Speaking in a joint interview with his Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, and chaired by Sky F1’s Martin Brundle, H꧋amilton insisted there is ꧑always room for improvement in his and the team's efforts to get better.

“You can always improve,” Hamilton explained.

“We didn’t win 🔯every race last year – there are areas that we stumbled and there are so man𓃲y elements [in winning].

“There’s always area🍒s we can improve. As a driver, how I can improve communication with my ▨team and mechanics and the guys back at the factory? But also as a driver, [how can I] deliver better performances?”

When Brundle suggested that changes to drivꦦing technique would not be among the tweaks made in the quest for improvement, H💜amilton immediately responded saying: “Every year I do.

“Every𝔉 year, and even through the season the technique’s evolving. This year for example we’ve g♊ot the same tyres as last year, but last year, the whole year was an issue [with the tyres].

“So th𓂃ere’s still subtle techniques which I’m going to have to adapt, w💜ith also a different car.

“And that’s part of the game, is being able t⭕o be adaptive, and we’ve got this new car – I don’t know how it’s going to handle, hopefully she’s great.”

When the delayed 2020 season does eventually get underway following the disruption caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Hamilton will have the chance to equal Michae𒀰l Schumacher’s record of seven world championships, while he could also surpass the German’s feat of 91 grand prix victories.
