Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has revealed he is working on a second book about his time in F1.

Steiner, who departed Haas after the Ameꩵrican team opted against renewing his contract for the 2024 sea✤son, published his first book last year.

‘Surviving to Drive’ was written as a diary of the year and took readers iﷺnside Haas’ rollercoaster 2022 season, selling 150,00🀅0 copies.

Now, Steiner, whose popularity has skyrocketed in recent years thౠanks to Netflix’s Drive to Survive series giving him cult status, has confirmed a second book is in the w🐽orks.

The book was already planned prior to his exit from Haas, and Steiner joked the ওstory “maybe changes a little bit” now.

“We are working 🤡on 💦the second book at the moment,” Steiner told .

“That was planned already before [leaving Haas]. Now, obviously, the story maybe cha꧃nges a l༺ittle bit!”

Steiner insists that the time he spent on his first book, alongside his TV sไtardom, did not take 🅷his focus away from Haas.

"I think people are overrating that, how much distraction that is, because it isn'tꦜ actually a lot of distraction fr🔥om the daily job,” he explained.

“Obviously on the race weekends, you need to work more. But for꧒ e✨xample, I didn't have 20 [sponsor] appearances a weekend, I had maybe three maximum.

“It's not like tha♌t is distrඣacting, even writing the book. Obviously, a ghostwriter does it for you.

“Now I've got more time, but even now, we do two session🧜s a week of half an hour💃. We do one on Tuesday and one on Friday. That's all I do, he does the rest.

“You speak with him, but it's not like I spent 🌳day෴s speaking with him. I know that some people have spent days speaking with these people, but I didn’t.

“I don't think that is a big factor. I think tꩵhat there were more benefits for the team than anything else about this because they got a lot of sponsors."
