The FIA have lost two key members of their legal department as F1’s governing body🔯’s exodus continues, presiden🧸t Mohammed Ben Sulayem has confirmed.

The FIA have already lost sporting director Steve Nielson, who left his roꦬle within 12 months of starting.

Similarly,ꦬ Tim Goss quitಞ to join Visa Cash App RB as their new technical director for 2024.

The latest two departure꧒s are governance and regulatory ไdirector Pierre Ketterer and head of commercial league affairs Edward Floydd.

The aforementioned duo have played a big🌄 part in the Concorde Agreement ove♛r the years - the contract which binds the FIA and F1 teams.

Ketterer’s 🔯impact will be particularly missed given he’s been part of the FIA since 2010.

He was also responsible for creating the FIA⭕’s judicial and disciplinary rules, and led the regulations surrounding F1’s COV꧟ID-hit 2020 campaign.

Speaking to Motorspor꧂t.com, Ben Sulayem confirmed their departures.

“I will miss Pierre personally🐼 and professionally. I have known him for 14 years – long before I became FIA president. I have always found him to be meticulous in hi꧑s commitment to serving the Federation and our members.

“He was a prominent, well-respected figure in our organisation🎃. I would like to thank him for his inv🍷aluable contribution and unwavering professionalism. I am confident that with the team Pierre has put in place, the FIA’s governance and regulatory affairs are in good hands.

“He has decided to take his career inꩲ a new direction after years of loyal service, and I wish him 𒉰well in his new role.”

The FIA have stated that this is 🐽part of a wider restructuring process led by Ben Sulayem.

As a r👍esult, 10 new departments have been created☂ within the French organisation.
