The final night of the fina♈l MotoGP pre-season test to𓆏ok place at Losail in Qatar on Friday.

World champion Jorge Lorenzo finished the test as he had started🌼 on Wednesday; on top of the timesheets - and this time by a substantial half-second over the rest of the field.

The Mov🦄istar Yamaha rider was also comfortably under the official race lap record on a night when th🔥e next 13 riders were covered by one-second. Lorenzo also joined the likes of Andrea Iannone and Pol Espargaro in putting in a long race-simulation run.

Once again there were numerous falls, including Valentino Rossi, Tito Rabat, Hector Barbera, Marc Marquez, Loris Baz, Aleix Espargaro and Cal Crutchlow, who underwent precautionary checks in the Clinica Mobil๊e. Rabat and Barbera fell several timesꦆ.

The injured Danilo Petrucci was the only competitor not present for the third official test, with factory test rider Michele Pirro ♛taking👍 his place.

Testing took place from 4pm to 11pm, but most again waited until af﷽ter sunset (around 6pm) before𒀰 taking to the track and stopped at 10pm due to dropping temperatures.

The season-o💦pening race will be held back at the Losail circu🧸it from March 17-20.

It was confirmeꩵd earlier this evening that Ducati has had to cancel it planned private test with Casey Stone this weekend, due to the MotoGP rule💖s prohibiting testing at a circuit within 14 days of the race.
