Strakka on course for Le Mans return

Strakka Racing says it is on cour✃se to debut the DOME S103 LMP2 car at Le Mans having been forced to delay the car's maiden outing by two months.

The car, which is built to the newest specification🐭s of the LMP2 regulations, underwent a day of running at Silverstone during the British GT test and wil๊l now travel to Spa-Francorchamps for a more in-depth three-day test.

Despite the wet conditions, th🙈e car - which is a closed-cockpit coupe🍸 - ran well, giving team manager Karl Patman confidence it will perform well at Le Mans.

"We continue to follow our scheduled test plan and next week our aim is to get all drivers valuable seat time," says sportscar team manager Karl Patman. "Although track conditions were quite extꦚreme, in a lot of respects, it's a great proving ground for what Le Mans sometimes has to offer and the car performed very well."

"Every week, we receive new information from DOME and correlating this to the growing volume of data acquired on track, we now have an increasingly accurate model𒀰 to accelerate development and driver acclimatisation," he added, speaking of Strakka's in-house LMP simulator.

Nick Leventis, Jonny Kane and Danny Watts will lead Strakka Racing's efforts in at L𒀰e Mans.
