Canepa denies MotoGP move

Niccolo Canepa has denied that he will be𒁃 in Moto♎GP next year.

The Italian, who spent a season in the premier-class with Pramac Ducati in 2009, was s👍urprisingly named at Iodaracing on the provisional 2014 MotoGP♐ entry list earlier this week.

However Canepa - runner-up in this year's FIM Superstock Cup and a stand-in for Carlos Checa in two WSBK rounds - appears to have been equally surprised, stating on Twitter:

"I will not be in MotoGP next year!! I had an imp🍷ortant offer but I refused ... my heart is somewhere else!"

Canepa was listed as taking over the seat of Lukas Pesek, with Danilo Petrucci due to continue. I♔oda's 2014 machinery is also unknown, Petrucci and Pesek having steered Suter-BMWs this year.
