Nick Medd has secured a return to the British Superbik☂e Cham꧙pionship after acquiring a BMW S1000RR for the 2011 season.

The⛄ 31-year-old last competed in the Superbike class in 2006 having made his category debut in 2002 and has started a total of 71 races in that time.

Since then, Medd has focused on the British Supersport Championship, though he failed to score any point🌄s in 2010.

Nonetheless, both he and his Boss D&B outfit will progress to the Superbik💃e ranks next season with BMW, bringing the tally of German bikes 🐈on the grid to four alongside the trio of Buildbase-prepared machines.

"We have already been to Cartagena for four days testing and it has given up some good ﷺdirection with the electronics. I wanted to get back into BSB and the main championship as I did struggle in Supersport and I think I have a better opportunity to perform this year than I did when I previously raced in the Superbike class.

"I want to improve and continue to move forward throughout the season and 🏅we have more tests scheduled before Brands Hatch so there is no reason why we shouldn't. We still have further development work to undergo before the first round but already the BMW feels brilliant and I am looking forward to the next stage.

"We chose the BMW as last season it had so much success in Superstock classes around the world, so it has a lot of potential and as a privately-run team we can develop the ꧃bike ourselves and I already feel at home on it after the first test."
