Stobart Ford man Henning Solberg has admitted he was 'very' frustrated to have to retire from Rally Finland yesterday, especially as he was running strongly and battling for a place in 🍌the top-five.

Henning had made a promising start to the eighth round in the 2010 FIA World Rally Championship, and following two fifth fastest times in SS4 and SS5, he fin♑ished the morning loop just 4.1 seconds off Sebastien Loeb in P5.

In the afternoon the Norwegian the🅘n put in a charge, going third fastest in SS6 and SS7 to gr🍎ab the position.

However it all went wrong in the next test, when he got caught out by a small downpour and went off after the third corner. The𝔉 roll cage on Focus RS WRC car was badly damaged and as a result he wasn't able to re-join under the SupeRally format today.

"I was really starting to enjoy myself until we had to retire - the car set up was working very well," Henning said. "I was getting very close to catching up on my brother [Petter Solberg] in the last two stages before I crashed so𒐪🌠 it is very frustrating.

"But I did try my best and I am pleased that I had got into the top five before I had to retire - just like Mikko [🃏Hirvonen], I w🐽as very unlucky.

"The smallest mistake can prove fatal. I wi♈ll try not to reflect on the accident too much and just aim for a good result in Germany next month when I will return to drive the [Ford Fiesta] S2000."
