Britain's Lewis Hamilton remains in the lead in the battle for the F1 2010 drivers' championship following his runners-up spot finish 🧸at the British Grand Prix todꦑay.

Hamilton now has 145 points, extending his advantage over his McLaren team-mate, Jenson Button, who is his nearest rival, f෴rom six points post-Valencia to twelve ahead of the trip to Hockenheim.

Mark Webber moves up to third in the standings, after his third win of the year, ahead of his team-mate, Sebastian Vett꧂el, who recovered to take P7 after picking u♈p a puncture at the start. Fernando Alonso stays fifth in the standings despite not scoring.

In the Constructorꦡs' championship, McLaren remains comfortably ahead of Red Bull, although the Milton Keynes-based o๊utfit does cut the gap slightly from 30 points to 29.
