Aoyama to miss Dutch TT

Hiroshi Aoyama will miss the i♔mpending Dutch TT, round six of the MotoGP World Championship, after it was confirmed he fractured his vertebra i𝐆n his fall at Silverstone.

The Japanese rider high-s🦂ided from the Interwetten Honda during warm-up for the British Grand Prix and was taken to hospital where he was diagnosed with a fracture of the T12 vertebra.

Currently still in hospital, a second CT scan w🌱as performed Monday morning, which confirmed the injury had not worsened overnight. Doctors have informed Aoyama that he can return hom💎e to Barcelona on Tuesday in order to seek a second opinion.

In the short-term, Aoyama will not race at Assen this weekend, although🎃 it remains unclear how lo🌜ng he will be absent from competition.

Interwetten Racing is one 🐼of only two teams to have competitors in all three classes of grand prix racing with Marcel Schrotter in 125cc and Thomas Luthi in Moto2.
