Quay Garage graduates with Bridewell

Reigning British Superbike Cup winners Quay Garage have confirmed they will become a fully fledged championship class contender in 2010 after concluding 🐠a deal with Tommy Bridewell.

Quay Garage dominated the Cup class this season with Gary Mason at the helm, winning 18 ﷽of the 26 races to secure the title three rounds in advance.

Producing a series of gia🌸nt-killing performances, Mason would defy his ageing two-year old machinery to regularly challenge the championship class contenders, starting on the front row at Thruxton a🎶nd finishing inside the overall top ten on 13 occasions.

Now Quay Garage will attempt to build on that success in 2010 by confirming it wil🙈l graduate to the championship class having acquired ex-Pau🎃l Bird Motorsport Honda Fireblades.

Leading its charge will be Bridewell, who makes a long awaited appearance ൩in the premier category after a remarkable part-season in 2009 in which he took the Team NB Suzuki to seven Cup wins and four🦩 top ten results overall.

Coming afte🧔r a year of uncertainty, in which he started the season⭕ in the FIM Superstock 1000 class, Bridewell was delighted to have secured a Superbike seat well before the start of the season.

"I'm delighted to be joining up with Ian [Woolacott] and the team a🔯t Quay Garage and I'm really looking forward to the season ahead," he said. "It also helps when you know what you're doing this side of Christmas as that way, we can focus on what🐟 we need to achieve.

🌞"As soon as it's been decided what bikes we'll be racing, we 🏅plan on getting some serious track time under our belts as I aim to give this my very best shot. Being from Devon, like me they all talk funny so at least we can all understand what we're saying!"

Choosing against competi💫ng in the newly-fo꧋rmed Evo class, Woolacott was equally pleased to get Bridewell on board.

"We've had Tommy in our sights for a long time and I know he'll do a fantastic job for ꧑us. He lives for his racing and I'm sure he can take us to the next le💝vel and I'm really looking forward to working with him.

"Whilst we're very serious about competing, we have a relaxed approach to racing and I'm sure Tommy will feel at h💞ome in our team. You could say we're the small team with big ambitions and we aim to continue our success in 2010."
