Rob Collard has been admit꧟ted to hospital following his accident in the final HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship race of the weekend♍ at Snetterton.

The A🐼irwaves BMW driver was leading the race when he was involved in an incident with the Chevrolet of James Nash, which resulted in him being tipped into a spin exiting the Esses.

Collard's car went spinning into the infield but then came to a stop on the racing line at the Bombhole, where it was hit at speed by the un🍎sighted Stephen Jelley.

Collard was able to removed himself from the car but was visibly in some discomfort and h💜as been taken to the Norwich and Norfolk general district hospital for further scans having complained on pains in his lower ribs and abdomen.
