One engine for Moto2.
The FIM has confirmed that the new Moto2 class, which will replace the 250cc World Championsh💦ip, is to have a single engine supplier.
Moto2, which will feature 600cc four-stro🐎ke engines and a prototype chassis, was due to start in 2011, but the FIM announcement regarding the engine rule revealed that the machines will race from next season.

"The [Grand Prix] commission unanimously accepted the proposition of the MSMA to have a "One Make Engine Regulation" in 🦄the Moto2 class. The name of the manufacturer will be announced later," said the s꧟tatement.
The original intention had been for Moto2 bikes to be powered by production-based engines from various manufacturers, which may have caused a clash with the World S𝓀upersport Championsh🐻ip.
