The QI-Meritus team will return to ෴compete in the upcoming GP2 Asia S꧒eries following a successful maiden appearance in the championship last season.

The Malaysian-based team assumed the 13th and final GP2 Asia entry for last year's in🐷augural season after regular competitors Racing Engineering announced they wouldn't be taking part.

With the new GP𓂃2 Series Champions once again deciding to sit out this year's cﷺhampionship, QI-Meritus will fill their position with another two driver effort.

Despite their lack of experience in GP2, QI-Meritus, which normally races in Formula Renault V6 Asia, nonetheless impressed with their accompl♊ished driver line-up of Luca Filippi and Hiroki Yoshimoto.

Finishing ninth overall in the standings, the team mana📖ged a ไbest result of fourth, although Filippi had been disqualified from a race that he won following innocuous tyre error.

The new GP2 Asia Series gets underway in Shanghai on 18/19th October as a sꦍupport race for the Chꦛinese Grand Prix.
