Stoddart bruised after Norisring collision.

Susie Stoddart was left bruised after a collision involving herself and Daniel La Rosa in the fifth round💛 of the DTM championship at the Norisring put the young Scot in hospital.

Stoddart had been running on the cusp of the 🍷top ten 🍷when, with 15 laps of the race remaining, she was collected by Mercedes counterpart La Rosa, the German having lost brake pressure at high speed coming into the Norisring's slowest corner, the Grundig hairpin.

Stoddart was taken t🔯o Nuremburg's Klinikum Sud but has now been released, albeit suffering from bruised ribs and a bruised elbow.

Stoddart was taken to Nuremburg's Klinikumꦐ Sud but has now been released, albeit suffering from bru🌃ised ribs and a bruised elbow.

"Susie Stod🍃dart was at Nuremberg's Klinikum S?d and she was ca🎐red for professionally," confirmed Norbert Haug. "She suffered from bruises at her ribs and elbow and is back with us now."

La Rosa meanwhile escape🐷d unhurt, claiming the brake problem left him wi🅺th nowhere to go but into Stoddart.

"When I braked for the Grundig hairpin suddenly the brake pressure faded," the German said. "I mana💙ged to turn the car around; however, I couldn't avoid hitti𝄹ng Susie. I am very sorry and I'm glad that she's not seriously injured."
