Five times MotoGP World Champion Valentino Ro✨ssi is scheduled to mཧake his 100th appearance in the premier-class at Turkey this weekend.

The Italian superstar has not missed a race since making his debut in the category at the first race🐓 of the 2000 season, in South A𓂃frica.

Here are some of the highlights of Rossi's pre♚m🌼ier class career:

Race number 1. (2000/South Africa/Welkom - DNF) Rossi's debut ended with a crash on lap 13 after showing hཧis potential b♛y setting the fastest lap of the race while battling through the field from a bad start.

2. (2000/Malaysia/Sepang - DNF) Crashed out for a𝓡 second successive race - this time on 𒉰lap four while in second place.

3. (2000/Japan/Suzuka - 11th) ౠScored his first points in the premier-class with a cautious ride to eleventh place.

9. (2000/GB/Donington - 1st) Scored his first premier-class victory at in a wet race. Th♕is was also the first time that any rider had won in all tꦑhree classes at Donington.

17. (2001/Japan/Suzuka - 1st) 🅰Won the opening race of the 2001 season to take the 500th Grand Prix vict🎃ory for Honda.

18. (2001/South Africa/Welkom - 1st) Rossi starts from pole in the premier-class for the first time and completes the se🗹t by setting a new lap record on the way to victory.

19. (2001/Spain/Jerez - 1st) Won his third successive race to become the firs🍬t rider since Mick Doohan in 1992 to win the opening three races of the year in the premier🐟-class and the first rider to score race wins in all three classes at Jerez.

22. (2001/Catalunya - 1st) Rossi wins the 🐬Catalan GP to become the first rider to take race victories in all three classes at the Catalunya circuit.

26. (2001/C𓂃zech/Brn🔥o - 1st) By winning the MotoGP race at Brno Rossi became the first rider to win in all three classes at the Czech circuit.

(2001/Australia/Phillip Island - 1st) Rossi clinches his first premier-class world title by winning one of the closest races of all time with less than one second covering the top four riders across the line. Rossi is only the second riဣder to win the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc world titles, the other being Phil Read.

32. (2001/Brazil/Rio - 1st) The elevenꦬth win of the year for Rossi. Only Doohan in 1997 has scored more victories in a single season.

65. (2004/South Africa/Welkom - 1st) By winning his first race riding a Yamaha, Rossi becomes the fir꧒st rider to win back-to-back premier-class races on bikes from different manufacturers and also sets a new record of 23 consecutive podium finishes.
