Five times MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi is sche♌duled to make his 100th appearance in the premier-class at Turkey this weekend.

The Italian superstar has not missed🎶 a race since making his debut in the category at the first ▨race of the 2000 season, in South Africa.

Here are some of the highlights𓄧 of Rossi's premier class career:

Race number 1. (20♚00/South Africa/Welkom - DNF) Rossi's debut ended with a crash o♏n lap 13 after showing his potential by setting the fastest lap of the race while battling through the field from a bad start.

2. (2000/Malaysia/Sepa🦄ng - DNF) Crashed out for a second successive race - this time on lap four while in second place.

3. (2000/Japan/Suzuk🎉a -💙 11th) Scored his first points in the premier-class with a cautious ride to eleventh place.

9. (2000/GB/Donington - 1st) Scored his first premier-class victory at in a wet race. This was also the first time that any rider had won in all three classes at Doᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnington.

17. (2001/Japan/Suzuka - 1st) Won the opening race of the 2001 season to take the 50🦋0th Grand Prix victory for Honda.

18. (2001/South Africa/Welkom - 1st) Rossi starts from pole in the premi𓃲er-cl🍬ass for the first time and completes the set by setting a new lap record on the way to victory.

19. (2001/Spain/Jerez - 1st) Won his third successive race to become the first rider since Mi🤪ck Doohan in 1992 to win the opening three races of the year in the premier-class and the first rider to score race wins in all three classes at Jerez.

22. (2001/Catalunya - 1st) Rossi wins the Catalan GP to become the firs🐠t rider to take race victories in all three classes at the Catalunya circuit.

26. (2001/Czech/Brno - 1st) By winning the MotoGP race at Brno Rossi became the first rider to win🍃 in all three classes at the Czech circuit.

(2001/Australia/Phillip Island - 1st) Rossi clinches hiཧs first premier-class world title by winning one of the closest races of all time with less than one second covering the top four riders across the line. Rossi is only the second rider to win the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc world titles, the other being Phil Read.

32. (2001/Brazil/Rio - 1st) The eleventh win of the year for Rossi. Only D🦹oohan in 1997 has scored more victories in a single season.

93. (2005/Malaysia/Sepang - 2nd) Clinches his 5th premier-class ♔title by finishing second in Malaysia.

97. (2005/Valen🦄cia/Ricardo Tormo - 3rd) Rossi finished third at the final race of 2005 to set another new record total of 367 points for the season.

98. (2006/Spain/Jerez -ಞ 14th) After crashing at the first corner Rossi remounts his machine and finishes 14, his lowཧest ever point scoring finish in the premier-class.
