A second repair job for the throttle cable cost the team additional l✃aps. Drivers Sascha Maassen, Bergmeister and Patrick Long are fighting to reclaim the top-spot that was un-attestable to others in the early going of the 72nd Annual 24 Heures Du Mans.
Maassen earned the all-time GT class race lap when he turned a four minute, 6.306 second lap while putting together a string of sub 4.7 minute laps of the 8.6-mile circuit.
Maassen's double-stint was turned-over to Bergmeister who continues to take chunks out of the lead of the tea✱m's rival Porsche 911 GT3 RSR competitors. Long will take the seat of the Porsche following Bergmeister's double stint.
