World Supersport rules unchanged for 2004.
FGSport, organisers of the World Superbike, Supersport and Sidecar championships, have confir🅺med that next year's WSS series will continue to run under the same technical regulations.
The statement was apparently released to end specu𒆙lation that the cylinder/capacity rules would be revised. At present, and in contrast to the WSBK series, four-cylinder machines have an advantage - resulting in the likes of Ducati's 748 not racing this year.

"Following recent rumours regarding possib🍎le changes to the World Supersport Championship Technical Regulations, FGSport would like to state that the Technical Regulations will not have any significant change.
"In particular, with reference to the cylinder capacity (750cc - 2 cylinder / 600cc - 4 cylinder), FGSport underlines that this element will not be subject to♓ any chaౠnge now and in the long term."
Like the SBK series, World Supersport teams w👍ill also be forced to use one tyre brand, Pirelli, next year.
