Fresh from his first Formula One victory, Fernando Alonso has been set a new challenge - driving his Renault R23 racing 𒉰car round the streets of Moscow.

And at the speeds the average Russian taxi dꩲriver goes, the youngest Grand Prix winner will have his work cut out🃏 to keep up!

He shouldn't have to worry too much, though. The City of Mos🥃cow authorities are closing down the roads so that Alonso and team-mate Jarno Trulli can try and outdrag each other round the streets in front of thousands of F1 fans in October.

The sport has a huge following iꦦn Russia and this will g𝄹ive them a close up view.

"In fact it will be the first time a Formula One car has ever run on Russian soil," said Jean-Michel Ja꧋🐽linier, the head of Renault in the country.

Renault has long li🎃nks in Russia, selling its cars there for many years, and is currently building a new factory in Moscow.

Spanish flier Alonso is no stranger to str꧟eet circuits - the Monaco Grand Prix aside - he has already run♔ his F1 car round the roads in Madrid earlier this year.
