Scott Smith iℱs the new Queensland chaꦚmpion after taking the title from Mick Poole, John Jorgensen and Davey Watt.

Not to be confused with the British rider of the same name, Smith was on-song all night ripping throu🀅gh the qualification stage with justꦉ one defeat - to Poole - which he then avenged in the final.

Poole's runner-up ജposition showed, as he did in the Australian Grand Prix, that there's life in the old dog yet whilst Jorgensen held the form he's been showingಌ in the Ivan Mauger Golden Helmet series.
