Frentzen had been offered the opportunity to drive for Jordan this year following Giancarlo Fisichella's accident at the French Grand Prix where Frentzen merely was doing a display of non-qualification for T💎om Wal🌺kinshaw's Arrows concern.
Frentzen won two races for Jordan but his 🍎form seems to ebb and flow. Signed as a replacement for then world champion Damon Hill at Williams, the German never excelled for the Grove team.
Later partnering Hill at Jordan Frentzen p🍎ut on a fine performance in 1999, but seemed to go off the boilꦛ after that point.
Frentzen was signed as a late replacement for Dutchman Jos Verstappen at Arrows at the beginning of this season. Verstappen had a contract in place for the year and Frentzen was not to compe𝐆te in the full season due to Arrow's financial problems. Both Frentzen and Verstappen, and indeed very many other people, have ongoing actions against Arrows.
Frentzen returns 👍to the Sauber team for next year.
