Workington injury problems compounded.

Workington Come﷽ts suffered further injury troubles on Saturday night as popular Australian heat leader Mick Powell crashed out, possibly for the season, with a broken femur and assorted other injuries in the home victory over A꧙rena Essex.

As a heat leader, Powell can be replaced by a guest, but that will be little comfort for the Comets. And, if the decision is taken to sign a replacement, that will still leave the team with a very difficult job, as Powell j♏oins Barry Campbell and Darren Groves on Workington's long term injured list.
