Hemelgarn Racing fields three entries for Indy.
Defending Indꦜy Racing Northern Light Series entrant champion Hemelgarn Racing filed three entries April 6 for the 85th Indianapolis 500, with defending Northern Light Cup champion Buddy Lazier and Stan Wattles named as drivers of two of the entries.
1996 Indianapolis 500 winner Lazier, from Vail🔴, Colo., will drive the No. 91 Tae-Bo-Coors Light-LifeFitness-Delta Faucet-Hemelgarn Dallara/Oldsmobile/Firestone, with an identical backup entered. Dennis L𝐆aCava is the chief mechanic, and Lee Kunzman is the team manager.

Wattles, from Sewꩵall's Point, Fla., will drive the No. 92🌠 Hemelgarn-Firestone-Dallara-Oldsmobile Dallara/Oldsmobile/Firestone, with an identical backup car entered. Ron Heck is the chief mechanic, and Greg Wattles is the team manager.
Wattl𝄹es will a✃ttempt to make his fourth Indianapolis 500 start. His best finish is 17th in 1999. He qualified eighth last year at Indy in a Hemelgarn Racing entry.
Lazier and Wattles are teammates this season with Hemelgarn Racing. Lazier finished thi꧟rd in the season-opening Pennzoil Copper World Indy 200 last month at Phoenix. Wattles finished 16th.
No driver was named for the third Hemelgarn entry, the No. 93 Metro𒐪 Management-Super Fitness-Firestone-Hemelgarn Racing Dallara/Oldsmobile/Firestone. An iden🎀tical backup car was entered. Kunzman is the team manager. No chief mechanic was named.
