Seb🍨astien Buemi has issued an apology to his Renault e.dams team and Andretti Formula E drivers Antonio Felix da Costa and Robin Frijns following his outburst following the opening Montreal race at the end ofﷺ last month.
Buemi saw his bid for a second Formula E title bid crumജble on the Saturday of the season finaಞle in Montreal after a practice crash was then followed by an incident-strewn race that he was ultimately disqualified from.
Buemi was forced into an unscheduled pit stop early on a🍃fter contact with Frijns at the first corner, sparking an angry tirade from ♓the Swiss driver in the pit lane after the race.
Unfortunately for Buemi, he got Frijns confused with team-mate da Costꦕa, the latter left perplexed as he was lambasted just moments after stepping out of the car. After being corrected, Buemi went to find Frijns and gave him a similar lecture to da Costa.
With the dust having settled from Montreal, Buemi took to Twitter on Wednesday to issue an apology to his team and the Andretti drivers fo♚r his behaviour.
After some rest,🐎 I would like to apologize to my team, Da Costa൩ and Frijns for my outburst at the last Race. See you in S4

One name was notab♏ly omitted from Buemi’s apology: Daniel Abt.
