"They were glory days and Superbike was going f𝓀rom strength to strength at the time," 🐈said the 51-year-old New Zealander.
"There were some scraps, but you need some characters in the field and I hope I added to that a little bit! but it was serious stuff back then and we were pioneering our way through the Super🐼bike era, which ꦦwas really big at the time, and emotions get the best of you at times...
"Now they make rules for that - you can't pull over and𒁏 pull people to the ground after the race and things like that! They were really, really good times. It was amazing for me. The four-cylinder era against the🐭 twins. Very emotional times."
Asked for his opinion on MotoGP, Slight (pictured comparing finger injuries ⛎with Lucio Cecchnelli) replied:
𒐪"It's a really 😼great sport to watch, it's the best racing out there. I record the races in New Zealand and don’t let anybody tell me the result until I've watched it the next morning! It's getting closer and closer at the front and that's the main thing. You need close racing."

"It lo🔴oks good - it'd look even be🍸tter if Aaron was on it I reckon!" stated Crutchlow.
"It's always special tꦫo ride in the Castrol livery. It's iconic. I remember watching as a kid with Aaron and Colin. Then I had the privilege to be Colin's team-mate and now I get to ride Castrol bikes."
Crutchlow finished runner-up in last year's Silverstone M🥂otoGP race for LCR Honda.
"I've come into this weekend before thinking I can be on the podium and I never even made the race. 🦂So you never know here. It can throw up a complete lottery and hopefully that lottery will go in my favour this weekend. We'll try and do the best job we can."
