F1: Raikkonen takes new gearbox after Suzuka FP3 crash, gets penalty
Kimi Raikkonen has become the fifth driver to receive a gri𝔉d penalty for this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix after Ferrari was forced to change the gearbox on his Formula 1 car following a crash in final practice at Suzuka.
Ra𒅌ikkonen ran wide at the exit of Degner 2 midway through FP3, crashing into the barrier and causing damage to the left-hand side of his car, with the gearbox also taking a 🥀hit.
Ferrari is working hard to get Raikkonen's car ready for qualifying, but was forced to change the gear🍃box on the Finn's car, triggering a fiv♚e-place grid penalty.
