F1 Mexican GP: Magnussen given green light by FIA after illness
Kevin Magnussen has been passed fit to take part in the remainder of the Mexican Grand Prix weekend after falling♔ ill during Friday practice.
Despite completing both Friday practice sessions for Haas, ending FP2 17th fastest, the Danish driver battled with a virus and was excused from media duties in order to reco♐ver away from the circuit at the orders of team principal Guenther Steiner.
Having rested overnight, Magnussen has passed medical tests set by the FIA to be given the go-ahead of take part in 𒊎Saturday’s FP3 and qualifying꧋.
