New F1 pit complex plans revealed for 2019 Canadian GP
Plans for a new pit and paddock com൲plex at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal have been unveiled, with Formula 1 first set to benefit at the 2019 Canadian Grand Prix.
A new contract for the grand prix wa✃s announced in March running through to 2029, including a commitment to introduce improved facilitieꦬs for the teams and paddock to use.
At a press conference earlier this week, the Societe Parc Jean-Drapeau unveiled renderings of the new pit c🍷omplex that would be used, covering three levels to accommodate the teams, media and guests visiting the track.

The project will cost an estimated CA$48 million, and construction work is planned to begin next July following the grand prix one month earlier. It will then be completed in April 2019 ahead o෴f that year's race.
