Tveter sticks with Trident GP3 for 2018
Ryan Tveter will remain with the Trident squad for his sophomore GP3 cam♚paign in 2018.
The 23-year-old American finished behind French teammates Gulianꦿo Alesi and Dorian Boccolacci in eighth place in the 2017 GP3 standings in his rookie season and helped Trident to secure second place in the teams’ championship.
Tveter, who contested the European Formula 3 Champioꦦnship for two years prior to his move into GP3, scored three podium finishes across the season, finishing second in🔯 Hungary and at the season-ending Abu Dhabi round.

Tveter, w💛ho contested the European Formula 3 Championship for two years prior to his move into GP3, scor🎉ed three podium finishes across the season, finishing second in Hungary and at the season-ending Abu Dhabi round.
“I’m so happy to continue to race for Trident in GP3 and want to thank the team and my supporters for ma๊king this po💛ssible,” Tveter said. “Last year was a breakthrough season for me and a huge part of that was the support and focused environment in the team.
“Everyone works with common goal of fully supporting the driver to get the best results possꦬible. That support really helps you to feel confident i♔n yourself and the car underneath you. I narrowly missed out on my first win on a couple occasions, but nonetheless we achieved some fantastic results with great consistency.
“To stand on the Fꦕ1 podium for the first time was something I’ll never forget and spraying the champagne after receiving your trophy doesn’t get old e🧜ither. The team and I have high targets going into 2018 and I can’t way to get pre-season testing underway.”
Trident confirmed 𒁃earlier this month tha♋t Ferrari F1 Academy member Alesi will remain with the Italian outfit for a third straight campaign in GP3, but it has yet to announce its third and final driver for 2018.
