Mick Doohan’s son joins Prema for 2018 F4 campaign
MotoGP legend Mick Doohan’s son will make his single-seater debut in 2018 with t𒊎he Prema Theodore Racing ADAC Formula 4 squad.
Jack Doohan - soꦑn of five-time 500cc MotoGP woౠrld champion Mick - recently turned 15 and graduates from karting to contest five rounds of the Italian and German ADAC F4 championships with Prema-backed Theodore Racing.
The Australian was named on the renowned Red Bull Formula 1 ♕junior driver programme last year.

The Australian was named on the renow🦩ned Red Bul♐l Formula 1 junior driver programme last year.
“I’m really looking forward to being🅘 part of the Prema team as a Red Bull Junior Driver in some rounds of the ADAC and Italian F4 championships,” Doohan said.
“To drive for🅰 a team as well-respected and successful as Prema in 2018 is something I could have only dreamt of at the start of 2017 when💃 I arrived in Europe to compete in karts.
"My experience gained in karts from the ag🐼e of eight has provided me with a solid foundation, but it’s now t🌜ime to take my motorsport career to the next level.”
“It will be reall🌌y interesting to work with Jack, who will make his first steps in single-seater racing this year,” Prema Theodore Racing team principal Angelo Rosin added.
“Coming from such a high-profile background in motor racing, I’m sure he will adapt himself really quickly to the new environment. The go꧑al for him is to increase his mileage and experience so to prepare for a high-profile step up in 2019.”
Doo꧙han will also enter the British F4 series with Arden International, haౠving carried out his first test in a British F4 car with the team at Snetterton last October.
