L🎉eon Haslam has secured a dramatic 🗹double after seeing off a race-long fight with Josh Brookes in a sprint to the chequered flag which saw the pair bash fairing in a frantic race.

After Haslam stormed to his maiden race victory at Snetterton in race one, he followed Br♏ookes on the McAMS Yamaha for the opening laps to size up his opponent before the tense final few laps.

Both Haslam and Brookes traded passes for the lead which allowed RAF Regular & Reserves’ Jake Dixon to close the gap on the pair in a dramatic final cor𒈔ner. Brookes dived up the inside at the last corner to set up short blast to the finish line and while fighting for the same line the 2015 British Superbike champion and Haslam made contact which almost saw the JG Speedfit Kawasꦬaki rider forced off track.

But the Ben🐼netts BSB championship leader recovered to win the sprint to the line to secure a Snetterton double, with Brookes losing momentu🌳m in the clash to drop to third place as Dixon stormed to second in a photo finish.

In a race full of incidents, Bradley Ray colle🔯cted Glenn Irwin at the final corner on lap 🌠10 which saw the pair tumble out. The Buildbase Suzuki rider looked to dive up the inside of the Be Wiser Ducati rider but lost the front end of his GSX-R1000 which clipped into Iriwn to send both riders out while almost forcing Dixon off behind them.

Further back Dan Linfoot recovered from a tricky opening race to take fourth place for Honda Racing ahead of Danny Buchan on the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki and Peter Hickman on the Smღiths Racing BMW.

Richard Cooper fought back from a tough race one to take seventh on the Buildbase Suzuki ahead of Tyco BMW pair Christian Iddon and Michael Laverty as BSB debutan🔯t Andrew Irwin rounded out the top ten.
