Leon Haslam has halted Jake Dixon’s winning run at Knockhill after the RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki rider saved a huge moment which almost threw him off while hunting a double v🐭ictory.

Dixon sꦰecured a first Bennetts British Superbike championship win for 12 months in race one at the Scottish circuit and looked a strong favourite to repဣeat his 2017 double victory at Knockhill leading with five laps to go.

But at🉐 Turn 7 Dixon was almost flung into a huge high-side but was able to keep on his ZX-10RR but lost all momentum which allowed Haslam to skate past. Dixon was also put under pressure from Danny Buchan but the youngster held his ner💮ve to keep second place ahead of the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki rider.

With Kawasaki dominating at Knockhill, Be Wiser Ducati’s Glenn Irwin had to settle for fourth place again in a relatively lonely race comfortably 💟ahead of Tyco BMW d🐻uo Michael Laverty and Christian Iddon.

Richard Cooper led the Buildbase Suzuki charge after teammate Bradley Ray was forced to retire with a technical issue with five laps remaini👍ng in race two, while Josh Brookes on the McAMS Yamaha was another to suffer a technical DNF.

Andrew Irwi🅺n claimed ꧙an impressive eighth place for Be Wiser Ducati, continuing to stand-in for the injured Shane Byrne, as James Ellison (Anvil Hire TAG Yamaha) and Peter Hickman (Smiths Racing BMW) rounded out the top 10.

Tarran Mackenzie fought back from a difficult home round to take 11^th place for McAMS Yama🐷ha ahead of Luke Mossey (JG Speedfit Kawasaki) as Dan Linfoot (Honda), Mason Law (Team WD-40 Kawasaki) and Gino Rea (OMG Racing Suzuki) completed the points places.
