Mossey leads Dixon heading ahead of qualifying
Luke Mossey has battled back to the top in the final free practice session at Brands Hatch to edge out Jake Dixon in an intriguing F🍰P3.
Mossey, who has been managing pain from his ribs following his high-speed off at Snetterto𒉰n last month, was one of few riders to produce a fast late lap in the session which saw him secure top spot with a 1m 25.008s – two-tenths of a second off the lap record.

The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider heads up Dixon on the RAF Regular & Res♔erves Kawsaki having seen the Knockhill race winner lead for the majority of FP3 having set 🌃the early pace during the longer runs.
Dixon ducked under Friday’s fastest time, set in FP1 by Glenn Irwin, just seven minutes into the final practice session with the bulk of the BSB field catching up on lost track timওe from yesterday afternoon’s FP2 which was held in damp condition🔜.
James Ellison was another to produce a late improvement on the Anvil Hire TAG Yam♌aha to take third place ahead of Friday’s fastest rider&ꦅnbsp;Irwin on the Be Wiser Ducati.
2015 Bennetts British Superbike champion Josh Brookes kept in touch in the top five for McAMS Yamaha with Tommy Bridewell catching the eye on൩ his Moto Rapido Ducati debut by ending FP3 in sixth place after just two dry practice sessions on the Panigale R having joined the team from this round.
BSB rookie Tarran Mackenzie grabbed seventh place for McAMS Yamaha, with both factory Yamaha riders sporting 20th anniversarꦑy livery, with Danny Buchan in eighth place for FS-3 Racing Kawasaki.
Andrew Irwin nipped into ninth place late on for Be Wiser Ducati which saw BSB championship leader Leon Haslam slip down to 10th at the chequered flag – but the JG Speedfit Kawa𝔉saki rider hadn’t optedꦇ for a single flying lap to show his qualifying pace.
Michael Laverty had a truncated FP3 for Tyco BMW, finishing down in 18th, after a technical issue forced an engine change which cut short his track ti💜me. Chrissy Rouse was the only faller in the session, coming off unhurt at Stirli🔯ngs, with minor damage sustained to his Movuno.com Halsall Suzuki.
