Burns rode for WC♌M during a troubled 2003, in whi♈ch the team completed only a partial season of racing after its R1-based prototype was initially banned from competition.
The outfit was present on the grid at Welkom two weeks ago for the season-opening Africa's Grand Prix - but only Italian rider Michael Fabrizio was on hand. Howeve𝕴r Burns, who has not ridden a motorcycle for seven m👍onths, has now been told he will race for the remainder of the season.
"I'm just so relieved that at last the WCM ride has been confirmed," the Briton admitted, "I turned down a few rides in the winter and it was all getting very frꦐustrating.
"My problem at Jerez will be that I've not ridden a motorcycle for seve✅n months. I'll just have one hour of practice on Friday morning before the first qualifying session. It will not be an easy weekend, but I'mꦏ so looking forward to getting there and racing again."

Peterℱ has been in the paddock for 20 years and has seen Valentino Rossi come and go. He is at the forefront of the Suzuki exit story and Marc Marquez’s injury issues.
