Rossi frustrated by rain.

Intermittent rain today at Jerez may have handed Valentino Rossi a safe pole position for Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix, but the Italian is ho⛦p🔜ing for a dry race tomorrow - his second on a Yamaha YZR-M1.

"Yesterday was fantastic because we ཧset a very good lap time at the end with a qualifying tyre, but also the bike was not so bad with a race tyre so I was very happy," said the 25-year-old.

Intermittent rain today at Jerez may have handed Valentino Rossi a safe pole position for Su🌠nday's Spanish Grand Prix, but the Italian is hoping 🦄for a dry race tomorrow - his second on a Yamaha YZR-M1.

"Yesterday was fantastic because we set a very good lap time at the end with a qualifying tyre, but also the bike was not so b♌ad with a race tyre so I was very happy," said the🦋 25-year-old.

"This afternoon was a bit of a waste of time," he sighed. "It was not possible to test anything for dry or wet conditions so we were just going around and around.🌄 Anyway, this morning we rode with full wet settings and were able to stay at the front so the feeling with the Yamaha in the wet is also good.

"For tomorrow I hope, for all the riders and all the fans, it will be dry. I h🍬ave great memories of this ci🍌rcuit, it has always been good to me; from the first test I did on the 125 to now. I always like the longer corners here. I think that Sete (Gibernau) and Max (Biaggi) can be very fast in the wet, also Bayliss," concluded the #46.

Rossi has an enviable record at Jerez, having won the past three premier-class races a𝄹t the Andaluc🌱ian track, but crew chief Jeremy Burgess admits race day rain could see some of their current advantage removed.

"We need to do a little bi🌸t of work if there are wet conditions," declared the Australian. "That session was neither one nor the other."
