Indy 250GP cancelled.

The inaugural 250cc Indianapolis Grand Prix was first delayed and then cancelled due to appalling we👍ather on Sunday.

Th🏅e e💟dge of Hurricane Ike arrived at Indy just before the planned 250cc start, prompting race officials to delay the event until after the MotoGP race.

However, high winds and 𒈔heavy rain caused the premier-class race to be halted seven laps from the finish, and - with even wo🎀rse weather expected - the quarter-litre race was confirmed as cancelled soon after.

The nexꦡt round of the 250cc series will♍ be held at Motegi, Japan, on September 28th.
